Tax Manager (Consultancy)

• Providing tax consultancy and advisory services to clients across a diverse range of industries.
• Develop and implement tax planning strategies for clients.
• Prepare and present tax planning reports to clients and other stakeholders.
• Work closely with other departments and professional advisors to provide a comprehensive tax consulting service.
• Conduct tax research and stay updated on changes in tax legislation.
• Train and mentor junior staff members.
• Review and manage the work of junior staff members.
• Manage tax consultancy projects, ensuring they are completed on time and within budget.
• Identify opportunities for new business and contribute to the development of business initiatives.
• Assist in managing the tax department, including work-in-progress, debtors, billings and fee collection.
• The position will attract additional duties depending on the type of client assignment, but will be of a professional tax and accounting nature

• A qualified CTA tax professional.
• An accounting qualification is preferable but not essential.
• Strong technical knowledge across several tax heads.
• Minimum of 2–3 years’ post-qualification experience in the provision of tax consultancy and advisory services.
• A proven track record managing a team of professionals.
• Excellent project management skills.
• Advanced written and verbal communication ability.
• Strong ability to delegate, manage and review the work of the tax team and other departments within the firm.
