Description
Are you looking for a firm that is committed to your professional growth and success from the start? Do you have an interest in international tax work and external audit in the real estate area? We are currently seeking a full-time Real Estate Tax and Audit Associate to join our team in our Atlanta, GA office!Workplace and Start Date: This position will be on-site in our Atlanta office with a start date of January 2027. Responsibilities:
- Prepare Federal and state, primarily partnership and individual non-resident income tax returns
- Support senior team members to ensure compliance with tax deadlines
- Perform technical tax research on a variety of Federal and state tax topics
- Perform audit engagements with a concentration on real estate
- Prepare clear, concise workpapers and other communications
- Conduct technical accounting research on a variety of accounting topics
- Participate in staff trainings and stay up-to-date with new audit regulations and tax laws
- Maintain active communication with senior team members and clients in a professional and timely manner
- Manage priorities and provide timely status updates to the team regularly
- 0-1+ years of professional Federal and state income tax or external audit experience, including experience in public accounting
- Experience in preparing partnership and individual tax returns
- BA/BS degree in Accounting or Master’s degree in Accounting/Taxation
- Excellent research, writing, and communication skills in English
- Process-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Solid organizational skills with the ability to multitask
- CPA license or working toward a similar certification preferred
- Experience in taxation or audits of real estate investments and related projects
- ProSystem fx Engagement and CCH Axcess experience
