Job Summary:

The Transaction Privilege Tax Analyst 1 is responsible for responding to non-complex transaction privilege and use tax inquiries from taxpayers. This is to ensure the responses are consistent and comply with state and federal statutes, laws, rules, regulations, policies, and procedures. This position will also review and edit tax forms, notices and publications as necessary.

Education & Experience:
Any combination that meets the knowledge, skills and abilities (KSA); typical ways KSAs are obtained may include but are not limited to: a relevant degree from an accredited college or university such as Bachelor’s Degree (e.g., B.A.), training, coursework, and work experience relevant to the assignment.
Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Business, or a related field, required
Juris Doctorate degree from an accredited law school is a plus, but not required
Experience with Continuous Improvement, Six Sigma and/or LEAN
