We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Staff Accountant to join our finance team. This employee will report to the Controller. The responsibilities are professional in function.

SCOPE OF DUTIES:
- Process customer invoices and track accounts receivable, reconcile revenue-related transactions and resolve discrepancies
- Assist in processing vendor invoices and payments
- Reconciling all deposits
- Reconcile bank statements and complete monthly cash reconciliation for all bank accounts ensuring accuracy of general ledger entries.
- Conduct variance analysis and report findings to management.
- Assist with Grant reporting documentation, and assist with gathering information and supporting documentation for annual audits
- Assist with internal and external audits.
- Support special projects and other related duties as assigned
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance required
- 1–3 years of accounting experience
- Knowledge of non-profit accounting a plus but not required
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices.
- Knowledge of QuickBooks Online, Microsoft 365. Bill.com and advanced Excel skills preferred.
