JOB SUMMARY:

Our Company is currently experiencing rapid growth, and we are seeking an Accountant to support month-end close, journal entries, bank/credit card reconciliations, AP and employee expenses, and fixed asset maintenance. The role will assist in the preparation of financial statements and supporting schedules, perform preliminary variance analysis against budget/prior periods, and support budgeting and forecasting. The Accountant will ensure GL accuracy under US GAAP and collaborate with the team to improve processes

KEY PERFORMANCE INDICATORS:

• Accuracy and quality of work (JE and reconciliation error rate)
• On-time completion of close tasks and reconciliations
• Completeness of account reconciliations and documentation
• Effective communication and collaboration with stakeholders
• Proactive identification of process improvements

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Prepare and post recurring/adjusting journal entries, including lease, CAM, and depreciation entries.
• Process daily/weekly accounts payable and review employee expense reports for accuracy and policy compliance.
• Post daily cash/credit card activity and complete monthly bank reconciliations.
• Maintain and reconcile fixed asset and depreciation schedules.
• Ensure completeness/accuracy of general ledger activity and maintain supporting documentation.
• Support monthly, quarterly, and year-end close; ensure timely postings and reconciliations.
• Assist in preparing financial statements, supporting schedules, and preliminary variance analyses.
• Provide accounting/reporting support for capital projects.
• Identify opportunities to streamline procedures and strengthen controls.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.

Education:
 Bachelor’s degree in accounting/finance or a related field.

Experience: 
1~3 years of general accounting experience.

Skills/Competencies:

▪ Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook); strong Excel skills (e.g., pivot tables, lookups) preferred.
▪ Working knowledge of US GAAP for routine transactions.
▪ High attention to detail, strong problem-solving, and a proactive “can-do” approach.
▪ Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
▪ ERP experience (e.g., QuickBooks) preferred
▪ Strong interpersonal and communication skills; able to work independently and collaboratively.
▪ Korean Bilingual Preferred

WORKING CONDITIONS/PHYSICAL ABILITIES:
 Work is generally performed in an office environment. Normal amount of sitting or standing, average mobility to move around an office environment, able to conduct normal amount of work at a computer.
