Summary
The Sr. Financial Analyst role is a key facing position for the US executive team. The Sr. Financial Analyst is responsible for financial support and oversight of the daily finance activities and for developing short and long term strategies for the organization. Ensure accurate and timely reporting and analysis of financial data in accordance with generally accepted accounting principals. This individual will lead all the financial reporting and controlling activities, coordination of internal and external audits, overseeing of all financial systems, and leading process improvement projects within Finance. Responsible for continuous communication and coordination with management and other operation teams to ensure data quality. Provides reliable, relevant and timely financial and operating performance information and analysis for management decision making and business and strategy development. Ensure strict adherence to all governmental and corporate regulatory requirements.
This role reports to the Chief Financial Officer (CFO).
Essential Functions

Lead and prepare the annual budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes, ensuring compliance to timetables and procedures.
Completes monthly, quarterly and annual reporting for consolidation purposes.
Creates and delivers monthly cost center reports and business performance reports and metrics. Complete monthly management reports- research actual to plan variances. Researches variances, determines root causes, and makes recommendations for adjustments.
Generates monthly management reporting package including KPI's, Backlog, Bookings, Sales, Profit, Headcount, top accounts, R&D projects, inventories, etc.
Prepare and coordinate internal and external audit activities.
Completes Sunshine Act reporting.
Completes all CO activities within SAP related to costing, cost center budget and planning, statistical key figures maintenance, allocation cycles and annual standard cost calculation roll-out. Develop product costing and variance reporting, implement improvements to reporting and systems as required.
Maintenance of all accounting systems, including master data, system changes, security, access and monitoring controls. Detection and evaluation of risks as well as opportunities for improvement.
Lead process improvement and system enhancement activities within the Finance organization. Researches ways of streamlining and standardizing processes to support the Accounting/Finance function.
Develop creative analytical reports and insure regular account analysis to facilitate business decisions. Generate intermediate to advance queries (i.e. Access, MS SQL) for research and to ensure data integrity.
Establishes and maintains effective internal control procedures and systems, including compliance monitoring in accordance with corporate policies, GAAP and Italian IFRS.
Support maintenance of formal, standardized processes and controls for each key responsibility.
