Imperial Dade and BradyPLUS merged in March 2026 to create Imperial Brady, the leading independently owned and operated distributor of janitorial supplies, foodservice packaging, and industrial packaging in North America. Through our network of over 250 distribution centers, we provide customers with everyday essential products from all the top suppliers in the industry. We serve national and local customers across many end markets, including restaurants, retail, education, healthcare, supermarkets, hospitality, and sports & entertainment. The Sr. Director, FP&A, will report directly to the VP of FP&A and be a key member of the company’s financial leadership team. This role will serve as the trusted financial business partner and key liaison to the SVP, Operations, and the broader Operations organization. The role is expected to drive KPI alignment/achievement and financial/strategic initiatives. You will be responsible for all month-end reporting, annual budgeting, monthly forecasting, financial modeling, KPI reporting, strategic initiative tracking, continuous improvement initiatives, and compliance requirements. You will also be responsible for managing and developing the FP&A Operations finance team. Full-Time Salary: Up to $235,000 + yearly bonus
Responsibilities:
Ongoing management of the Operating Expenses, ensuring financial accuracy, compliance, and alignment with strategic initiatives Partner with the SVP, Operations, and regional leadership teams to develop and execute strategies that drive sales growth, operational efficiency, and profit margin expansion Deliver actionable insights to the SVP, Operations, and regional leadership team that allow them to make informed decisions Develop and maintain KPI’s and dashboards (e.g., price/volume, warehouse productivity, customer profitability, etc.) to drive accountability and measure performance against company goals
Lead the month-end close process for Operating Expenses, analyze financial and operational trends to identify margin improvement and cost optimization opportunities Lead the annual budgeting and monthly forecasting processes, supported by reasonable assumptions and inclusive of a balanced set of risks and opportunities Partner with the field leaders to model financial scenarios and evaluate the expected return on strategic initiatives, capital expenditures, M&A opportunities, etc.
Experience, Education & Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field; MBA, CPA, or other advanced certification is a plus. 12+ years of progressive, relevant FP&A experience; ideally in a high-growth, multi-location business in a public or private equity-backed environment Direct experience in FP&A with full P&L responsibility is a must Strong executive presence, business acumen, strategic thinking, and presentation skills, effective communicator with the ability to deliver complex financial insights to both financial and non-financial stakeholders Strong executive presence, business acumen, strategic thinking, and presentation skills, effective communicator with the ability to deliver complex financial insights to both financial and non-financial stakeholders Advanced technical skills, including Excel, PowerPoint, and Power BI, and the ability to navigate large, complex datasets to streamline reporting and improve local decision-making Experience building, coaching, and mentoring a high-performing team, proven ability to develop strong cross-functional relationships and experience operating in a large organization
