Our client, a nationally recognized consulting, tax, accounting, audit, and advisory firm, is seeking an experienced Tax Senior Manager to join its growing Charlotte office.

The Opportunity
As a Tax Senior Manager, you'll oversee complex tax planning, compliance, consulting, and advisory engagements while serving as a key leader within the tax practice.
You'll work directly with business owners, executive teams, investors, healthcare systems, financial institutions, real estate operators, and privately held companies while helping them navigate complex tax matters and strategic business decisions.

Key Responsibilities
Strategic Tax Advisory
- Lead sophisticated tax planning, compliance, and consulting engagements
- Advise clients on complex tax matters and strategic business decisions
- Develop proactive strategies that improve client outcomes and tax efficiency
- Serve as a trusted resource for executives, ownership groups, and leadership teams
- Assist clients in navigating evolving tax regulations and business challenges
Client Relationship Management
- Build and strengthen long-term client relationships
- Deliver exceptional client service and strategic guidance
- Identify opportunities to expand services and deepen client relationships
- Coordinate tax, advisory, accounting, and consulting engagements
- Become a trusted advisor on business and tax matters
Leadership & Team Development
- Manage and mentor tax professionals across multiple levels
- Develop future managers, senior managers, and firm leaders
- Review work product and provide technical guidance
- Foster a collaborative culture focused on excellence and client service
- Assist with recruiting, onboarding, and retention initiatives
Practice Growth
- Participate in networking and business development efforts
- Assist with proposals, presentations, and client pursuits
- Develop new client opportunities and referral relationships
- Support strategic growth initiatives across the practice
- Contribute to the continued success and expansion of the firm's tax services

Qualifications
Required
- CPA, EA, or comparable professional credential
- 7+ years of tax experience in public accounting, consulting, or corporate tax leadership

- Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities
