This proactive, hands-on position will be working in a team environment and supporting both the International and Domestic tax directors.
Overall responsibilities will include approximately 70% international tax/transfer pricing and 30% domestic tax.
This role is ideal for someone who wants to be involved in a multitude of challenging tax issues.
Key Focus Areas:
- Overseeing transfer pricing policies/compliance and monitoring legal entity profit levels
- Performing technical tax review and approval of consolidated federal tax return
- Assisting with Federal/state tax planning
- Analyzing tax impacts associated with purchase accounting adjustments arising from new acquisitions
- Assisting with US tax provisions
- Assisting with IRS and foreign tax audits, as needed
Qualifications:
- 8+ years experience with Big 4 or equivalent large corporation experience
- CPA license and/or J.D.
- Previous experience with managing transfer pricing policies is preferred
- Requires solid understanding of US tax laws and ASC 740 requirements
- Experience in “outbound” international tax for US multinationals
- Experience with practical application of US tax planning projects
- Ability to plan, execute and complete multiple projects simultaneously
- Detail oriented with good organizational and communication skills
