Senior Tax Manager

HornBill's leading regional CPA firm with offices in NY and NJ is seeking a highly motivated Senior Tax Manager for their Basking Ridge, New Jersey (NJ) office. Summary: You will manage talented staff and mentor/coach staff on various accounting and tax technical issues. You will be involved in new client development with upper management and participate in client meetings, presentations and proposal development and hopefully be on track for a Partnership. Essential Functions:

• Balance priorities demonstrate proficient technical skills for handling client responsibilities and deliver a high-quality work product
• Demonstrate an understanding of professional and industry standards and practices
• Serve as the client's trusted advisor, identify client issues and conflicts and proactively communicate solution options to the client and team
• Exhibit excellent interpersonal, analytical, research and project management skills
• Ensure tax compliance
• Oversee tax team members

• CPA, Bachelor's degree; Master's degree preferred in Accounting or Finance
• 10 plus years of experience in public accounting with 5 years supervisory
• Organized and mindful of both deadlines and budgets
• Highly proficient in CCH Access - ProSystem, Outlook and MS Office Programs
• Strong comprehension and communication skills, both written and oral
• Strong analytical skills
