Location: This is an on-site opportunity in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, offering the benefits of working alongside a collaborative team in a stable and relationship-driven public accounting environment. Local candidates are strongly preferred.
Note: Candidates must hold an active CPA license and have 3+ years of tax experience in public accounting. Relocation assistance is generally not available, and preference will be given to candidates with ties to the Baton Rouge area.

Job Description
- Prepare and review individual, corporate, partnership, and other tax returns.
- Handle complex tax issues and provide strategic tax planning recommendations.
- Prepare and analyze financial statements.
- Conduct tax research and ensure compliance with federal and state regulations.
- Serve as a trusted advisor to clients and build strong long-term relationships.
- Lead client engagements and maintain high standards of service.
- Mentor and support junior staff members.
- Assist with process improvements and operational efficiencies.
- Collaborate with partners and team members to deliver outstanding client results.
Qualifications
- Active CPA license required.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- 3+ years of tax experience in public accounting.
- Strong knowledge of tax preparation and financial statement preparation.
- Experience advising clients and managing multiple engagements.
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
- Leadership and mentoring abilities.
- Master's degree is a plus.
