Responsibilities
**This role requires candidates to be onsite 5-days per week (M-F) at our Rosemont, IL Headquarters**
Position Responsibilities:
- Support tax planning projects including analysis, documentation, and presentation of conclusions.
- Develop relationships with business leaders for the assigned business unit and identify tax planning opportunities and risk mitigation
- Liaise with outside accountants in the filing of federal, state and international tax returns
- Support and implement process and technology improvement initiatives within the Tax Department
- Assist with federal, state and local tax audits including performing tax research, summarizing data and drafting audit responses
- Lead efforts for preparation of federal and state income and franchise tax returns, extensions and estimated tax payments, including analyzing book to tax differences and review of returns and vouchers
- Team with business units to accumulate tax information for tax return preparation and budgeting purposes
- Assist in responding to notices
- Other projects or duties as assigned
Qualifications
Required Education and Experience:
- Bachelor's Degree with 4 to 6 years of related experience or High School Diploma/General Education Diploma with 7 to 9 plus years of specific experience
Preferred Education and Experience:
- Master’s Degree or Certified Public Accountant (CPA)
