Hours: 9:00 am - 5:00 pm | Pay: 70/hr
Responsibilities:
- Manage state tax notices - ideally in complex states such as NYC, Minnesota, Mass. etc
- Respond to audit IDRs and manage the audit process, including communication with state tax auditors
- Work with outsourced service provider on tax compliance and audit reports
- State quarterly provision,
- Manage Cash Tax Forecast and ETR
- Quarterly state tax estimates and extensions review, including payments
- Collect apportionment information
- Balance sheet, account, and blackline reconciliations
- Collaborate with state departments / state auditors
- 6-7 years of tax experience, 3-4 of those years need to be focused on state tax
