Senior Pricing Analyst

Reporting to the Senior Manager Pricing Foodservice, the Senior Pricing Analyst is an essential member of Bunge Loders Croklaan (BLC) North America Pricing Team. This individual will be acting as liaison to various functions including Sales, Product Management, Operations, and Trade, in efforts of identifying opportunities to optimize business performance and profitability. The role will work in close collaboration with Sr. Pricing Manager Foodservice in driving profitability and process improvement opportunities, including segmentation analysis and market intelligence initiatives. 

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

• Lead modelling, analytics, and pricing strategy calls for Foodservice pricing team with support from Sr. Pricing Manager.
• Own RFX process and coordination with Sales, PLM, and other functions.
• Publish monthly KPIs, insights, and recommendations for changes to price lists, pricing models, and margins.
• Track, analyze, and report market intelligence data to ensure margin expectations remain competitive. 
• Generate framework to identify pricing improvement opportunities and support implementation of initiatives within the organization.
• Act as business owner of Customer Position reporting to include Financial Risk Management and Booked contracts.
• Partner with accounting and other functions to ensure timeliness and accuracy in standard costs. 
• Monitor compliance reporting for all pricing team functions, including SOX reporting.
• Represent Foodservice team on special project assignments as needed, i.e. SAP, training, etc.
• Support of systems utilized by the pricing and contracting team, suggesting enhancements as needed, ie: including Salesforce, Tableau, Pricing Engine, etc. 

SKILL / EXPERIENCE / COMPETENCIES REQUIRED:

Competencies/Skills:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or Mathematics. 
• 5+ years related experience
• Demonstrated analytical, problem solving, and organizational skills required
• Results oriented and self-driven individual 
• Leadership skills, including influencing and highly collaborative in group settings 
• Strong analytical skills and proven data management experience (3+ years)
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Knowledge:

• Pricing Strategy / Pricing frameworks 
• S&OP / Demand Planning 
• Agribusiness pricing (including understanding of commodities market fundamentals)
• Product / Portfolio Management
• Key Account Management
• Business & Financial Modeling
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel. Experience in Tableau or other BI tools preferred.

• Minimal travel required
