HornBill has a client seeking a Sr. Portfolio Accountant in Newton, MA. Responsibilities:
- Prepare, generate, and review financial reports and work papers
- Maintain general ledger, prepare/review journal entries and account analysis
- Prepare accounting memos and assist with technical matters
- Maintain fixed asset records
- Assist in preparation and review of SEC filings and public disclosures
- Assist in internal audit process
- Maintain cash forecast
- Perform special projects as needed
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Accounting
- Proficient with property management/accounting software, Yardi preferred
- Proficient with Excel and Word
- Strong communication skills
