Senior Payroll Specialist

The ideal candidate will have extensive payroll experience in a manufacturing environment, strong knowledge of ADP Workforce Now, and the ability to communicate effectively in both English and Spanish.
How You Will Help
- Process weekly payroll for hourly and salaried employees with a high degree of accuracy.
- Administer payroll using ADP Workforce Now, ensuring data integrity and compliance.
- Review and reconcile time and attendance records, including overtime, shift premiums, vacation, holiday pay, and other contractual pay provisions.
- Interpret and administer payroll provisions contained within the collective bargaining agreement.
- Process employee status changes including new hires, transfers, promotions, leaves of absence, and terminations.
- Administer payroll deductions, garnishments, benefit deductions, and other payroll-related transactions.
- Respond to employee payroll inquiries in a timely, professional, and customer-focused manner in both English and Spanish.
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, local, and contractual payroll requirements.
- Support payroll audits, year-end processing, W-2 preparation, and payroll reporting activities.
- Maintain strict confidentiality of employee and payroll records.
What You Will Bring
- Associate degree in Accounting, Business Administration, Human Resources, or related field; equivalent experience considered.
- Minimum 5 years of payroll experience, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
- Minimum 3 years of experience processing payroll in a unionized workplace.
- Strong working knowledge of ADP Workforce Now.
- Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish (verbal and written).
- Knowledge of payroll laws, wage and hour regulations, payroll taxes, and timekeeping practices.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
- Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to manage multiple priorities.
