What You Will Do:
- Providing tax compliance and advisory services to C corporations, including experience with ASC 740
- Flow through entity experience is a plus
- Helping develop, build, and manage client relationships
- Assisting manage, develop and coach professional tax staff
- Reviewing returns prepared by tax associates and seniors
- Effectively delegating responsibilities to others and monitoring efforts of engagement teams
- Proficiently using technology tools in regular assignments and demonstrating a commitment to improving work processes through the use of technology
- Successfully researching complex tax issues, applying findings to projects, and communicating those findings in writing
Minimum Qualifications:
- 7 years or more of related experience in public accounting or corporate tax department
- Bachelor's or graduate degree in accounting, finance, or related field
- CPA license
Preferred Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Taxation or Law degree
- Experience managing multiple complex client engagements
- A strong sense of ownership for delivering ultra-responsive client service
- Excellent supervisory, team building, and time management skills
California Pay Transparency
Pursuant to the pay transparency laws of California, the salary range displayed is for the California market. The salary for this role will be based on the experience, education, and skill set of the individual for the position. Total compensation and benefits consist of salary, group health plan benefits, 401(K), profit-sharing contributions, flexible time off, and parental leave. Forvis Mazars reserves the right to make changes to the salary range based on business needs.
California Salary Range: CA Minimum Salary (USD) $ 134,700 CA Maximum Salary (USD) $ 279,700
