ABOUT LODGE CAST IRON
We got our start over 125 years ago when Joseph Lodge founded the Blacklock Foundry in South Pittsburg, TN. His scrappy, hardworking spirit continues to lead us today. As a team, we believe cast iron is for everyone. We’re dedicated to manufacturing American-made cookware that we’re proud to use in our very own homes and excited to bring to kitchens, backyards, and campfires around the world. Day in and day out, we work together to stay safe, have fun, and be better than we were the day before. WHAT FIRES US UP? By now, you may have caught on to the fact that we’re serious about spreading the joys of cast iron. And while we’re always on the lookout for ways to innovate, we believe in the adage: If it ain’t broke, don’t fix it. That’s why we stand by a simple recipe of just iron and oil (no forever chemicals, since forever!). It’s also why we’re passionate about keeping our campus in our hometown of South Pittsburg, Tennessee, providing great jobs to our community. As we bring our cookware to the next generation of cast iron chefs, we’re looking for people to help us stay true to our roots every step of the way. Does that sound like something you can get behind? A DAY IN THE LIFE As the Senior Manager, Integrated Planning & Procurement, you serve as the central strategic hub connecting Lodge’s commercial strategy with operational execution. Reporting directly to the Director of Supply Chain, you provide leadership across demand planning, supply planning, domestic purchasing, and global sourcing while leading a team that includes the Demand Planner and Purchasing Manager. In this role, you are an integral leader in the Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) cycle, facilitating cross-functional alignment among Sales, Marketing, Operations, Finance, and Product Development to translate business plans into executable supply chain strategies. Day to day, you model scenario trade-offs between customer service levels, working capital, capacity, and cost, while actively mitigating global sourcing, tariff, and lead-time risks. Through key metrics, forward-looking dashboards, and strategic supplier management, you drive continuous improvement, optimize inventory, and develop organizational capability across all planning and procurement functions.THE IDEAL CANDIDATE IS: The successful candidate will be a strategic thinker who can also drive disciplined execution. This individual must be comfortable moving between executive-level business discussions and detailed planning or supplier issues, while developing a team capable of increasingly independent decision-making. The role requires a leader who can challenge assumptions constructively, create accountability across functional boundaries, translate complex information into clear business decisions, and maintain an enterprise perspective when balancing service, inventory, cost, and risk. RESPONSIBILITIES:
S&OP Leadership and Integrated Planning
Own and continuously improve the company’s S&OP process, including the monthly planning calendar, demand review, supply review, pre-S&OP, and executive S&OP preparation.
Establish clear governance, roles, decision rights, metrics, and accountability throughout the S&OP process.
Integrate demand, supply, inventory, capacity, and procurement plans into a consolidated view of business opportunities and risks.
Facilitate cross-functional alignment and ensure material gaps between demand and supply are identified early.
Develop alternatives and recommendations for leadership when demand, capacity, inventory, service, or financial objectives conflict.
Ensure decisions, assumptions, risks, and action items are documented and followed through to completion.
Partner with the Director of Supply Chain as Executive Owner of the S&OP process.
Demand & Supply Planning
Provide leadership and coaching to the demand planning and supply planning functions.
Ensure development of a credible consensus demand plan incorporating historical trends, customer intelligence, promotions, new products, and commercial assumptions.
Establish supply planning processes that translate demand into capacity, inventory, procurement, and production requirements.
Improve forecast accuracy and bias through disciplined measurement, root-cause analysis, and corrective action.
Develop scenario-planning capabilities to evaluate changes in demand, capacity, lead times, sourcing strategies, and inventory requirements.
Establish appropriate inventory targets and planning parameters to balance service, working capital, and supply risk.
Procurement & Global Sourcing
Provide strategic leadership for domestic purchasing and global sourcing.
Develop sourcing strategies that optimize total cost, quality, service, capacity, lead time, and supply continuity.
Lead strategic supplier negotiations and support long-term supplier relationship development.
Develop supplier segmentation, performance management, scorecards, and business review processes.
Identify and mitigate supplier, geographic, capacity, tariff, logistics, and continuity risks.
Partner with Product Development, Quality, Operations, and other functions to support new product sourcing and supplier qualification.
Establish measurable cost reduction, productivity, and value-creation objectives.
Inventory & Working Capital
Establish inventory strategies aligned with customer service and financial objectives.
Improve visibility to projected inventory, excess and obsolete inventory, and working capital requirements.
Ensure inventory decisions reflect demand uncertainty, supplier lead times, capacity constraints, minimum order quantities, and service requirements.
Partner with Finance and Operations to develop recommendations that balance inventory investment with business risk.
Analytics & Performance Management
Develop a consistent set of planning, procurement, supplier, inventory, and S&OP KPIs.
Establish forward-looking dashboards that identify risks and opportunities before they impact business performance.
Drive greater use of data, analytics, and scenario modeling in supply chain decision-making.
Promote root-cause analysis and continuous improvement rather than reliance on historical reporting alone.
Leadership & Organizational Development
Lead, coach, and develop planning and procurement professionals.
Establish clear roles, expectations, objectives, and development plans.
Build succession and organizational capability within planning, purchasing, and sourcing.
Foster collaboration and shared accountability across functional boundaries.
Create a culture focused on disciplined execution, fact-based decision-making, continuous improvement, and business results.
