Pay Range: $60 - $80/hr. Employee benefits include, but are not limited to, health insurance (medical, dental, vision), 401(k) plan, and paid sick leave (depending on work location).
Key Responsibilities:

Provide full cycle accounting for a portfolio of class A office properties in the DC Metro Region
Create month-end accounting journal entries. Work with property staff, lease administration, and other internal teams to ensure property financials are accurate & complete.
Review all general ledger activity for accuracy and completeness
Prepare monthly financial statements, balance sheet reconciliations and SOX workpapers.
Draft variance report comments which explain a property’s performance against budget and prior periods.
Calculate tenant recovery billings for CAM and Tax
Review new leases at property to ensure accurate revenue recognition and recovery set-up.
Provide support for audit and tax compliance teams
Provide support for ad hoc ownership requests
Provide support to property management team. Be able to explain complex information to others without a financial background.
Lead by example and model behaviors that are consistent with client RISE values
Work within the client standard procedures to achieve

Key Requirements and Technology Experience:

Bachelor's Degree preferred with 2-5 years of relevant experience. In lieu of a degree, a combination of experience and education will be considered.
Experience with Yardi preferred
Strong organizational skills with an inquisitive mindset.
Ability to calculate complicated figures such as percentages, fractions, and other financial-related calculations.
In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Office products (Excel, Outlook, Word, etc)
