The Senior Financial Analyst is a key member of the Finance team responsible for financial reporting, analysis, forecasting support, and a variety of recurring and ad hoc business needs. This role works with corporate functions, operating divisions, and other business partners to analyze financial results, identify trends and risks, support forecasting and planning activities, and provide clear, accurate financial information to management. The successful candidate will have a strong foundation in financial analysis and accounting concepts, including an understanding of GAAP financial statements and the relationships between the income statement, balance sheet, and cash flow statement. The role requires strong Excel skills, sound judgment, attention to detail, critical thinking, and the ability to independently work through unfamiliar financial information and analytical problems.
This position is well suited for someone who can move comfortably between recurring reporting responsibilities and less-structured analytical requests, understands when additional investigation is needed, and knows when an issue should be elevated to management.
What You'll Do:
- Prepare, maintain, and deliver recurring monthly and quarterly financial reports, analyses, and management presentations, ensuring accuracy and consistency, identifying key trends and variances, and clearly interpreting results.
- Analyze financial and operational results to identify significant trends, variances, risks, and business drivers.
- Support forecasting and planning activities by analyzing historical results, current business trends, operating assumptions, and other relevant information.
- Develop and maintain financial models for forecasting, scenario analysis, trend analysis, and other business needs.
- Review and audit existing Excel models and analytical files to understand their underlying logic, validate calculations and assumptions, identify potential issues, and recommend improvements when appropriate.
- Perform a wide variety of ad hoc financial analyses in response to requests from management, corporate functions, and operating divisions.
- Serve as a Finance resource to business partners and operating divisions by assisting with financial questions, reporting needs, forecasting requirements, and interpretation of financial results.
- Perform quarterly financial reviews supporting the Company's earnings process, including review of earnings-related materials and validation of financial information for accuracy and consistency.
- Review financial statements and other available financial information for key vendors to identify potential financial strength, liquidity, or going-concern concerns.
- Prepare and analyze P&L reporting for corporate cost centers, including identification and explanation of significant spending trends and variances.
- Support Sourcing and Procurement reporting by maintaining required financial and operational data, preparing recurring reports, and assisting with related analysis.
- Coordinate forecast submissions from International divisions, including distribution of forecast templates, review of submitted information, consolidation of divisional forecasts, and preparation of information used in the tax provision forecast.
- Prepare and maintain IT spend reporting and related financial analysis.
- Manage data from multiple sources and organize information into accurate, useful financial reporting and analysis.
- Collaborate effectively with Finance colleagues, operating divisions, corporate departments, and other business partners.
- Identify unusual results, inconsistencies, or potential risks and use sound judgment to determine when additional analysis or management involvement is appropriate.
- Clearly communicate analytical conclusions, questions, risks, and recommendations to colleagues, management, and business partners.
- Strong understanding of financial analysis and core finance concepts.
- Working knowledge of GAAP financial statements, including the income statement, balance sheet, and statement of cash flows, and an understanding of the relationships among the three statements.
- Ability to analyze financial statements, identify significant trends and relationships, and recognize information that may indicate financial or business risk.
- Understanding of budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis, expense analysis, and financial reporting.
- Ability to translate financial data into meaningful business insights and clearly explain the implications of analytical findings.
What You'll Bring:
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration, or a related discipline, or an equivalent combination of education and relevant experience.
- Approximately 3–5 years of relevant experience in financial analysis, FP&A, accounting, corporate finance, or a related field.
- Experience in a corporate FP&A, financial reporting, or similar analytical environment is preferred.
- MBA, CPA, or other advanced degree or professional certification is beneficial but not required.

Excel and Analytical Skills
- Strong Microsoft Excel skills, including the ability to develop and maintain complex financial models and analytical workbooks.
- Ability to independently review unfamiliar Excel files, trace formulas and data flows, understand model logic, identify errors or inconsistencies, and assess whether calculations and assumptions are reasonable.
- Comfortable working with large data sets, reconciling information from multiple sources, and investigating differences.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify the key drivers of an issue rather than simply report the numbers.
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail, particularly when reviewing financial information that will be used by management or included in external-facing processes.
Systems and Technology
- Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.
- Experience with financial reporting, planning, ERP, or multidimensional database systems is beneficial.

- Review financial statements and other available financial information for key vendors to identify potential financial strength, liquidity, or going-concern concerns.
