ABOUT THE ROLE
The Senior Financial Analyst (SFA) plays a pivotal role in advancing the financial planning and analysis function across the Building Materials business. We are seeking a results-driven professional with 3–5 years of relevant FP&A or corporate finance experience to support enterprise-level planning, executive reporting, and business performance analysis.

Operating within the Office of the CFO, this high-visibility position provides direct analytical support to senior finance leadership while partnering closely with corporate functional heads and key business leaders across the organization.

WHAT YOU'LL ACCOMPLISH

• Financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting
• Variance analysis and performance commentary
• Executive reporting and presentation development
• Functional spend analysis and cost optimization support
• Continuous improvement of reporting processes and tools. Leverage modern AI tools to optimize reporting workflows, build automated validation checks, and eliminate manual redundancies.
• Work with urgency and precision during month-end close, quarterly earnings cycles, and Board reporting timelines
• Respond to ad hoc analyses and requests from the CFO and finance leadership, often under tight deadlines
• Independently identify data gaps, investigate variances, and source solutions with limited direction
• Collaborate closely with Accounting, Consolidations, and the broader FP&A community to ensure perfect alignment of results and corporate financial timelines

WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR
Education: Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field
Additional Education Preferred: Master's degree
Required Work Experience: 3-5 years of progressive experience in FP&A, corporate finance, corporate accounting, or related roles.

Required Training/Certifications: Professional designation (CPA, CFA) is highly preferred.

Required Technical Skills:

• Strong financial modeling, Excel, and presentation skills (PowerPoint, dashboards). Exceptional capability with complex financial modeling, data manipulation, advanced formulas (nested logic, arrays), and managing large data sets.
• Systems Experience: Strong experience with SAP or SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC) is highly preferred. In lieu of SAP, a demonstrated ability to learn complex ERP/BI tools rapidly and maintain/build reporting structures is required.
• AI Integration: Experience using modern AI tools or advanced data tools to accelerate analysis, automate data reconciliation, and build error-checking mechanisms.

Travel Requirements: 5%

• Experience operating in fast-paced environments with tight reporting timelines preferred
• High Grasping Power & Analytical Rigor: Ability to quickly understand complex organizational hierarchies, track cross-functional cost allocations, and adjust models on the fly.
• Strong communication skills: Ability to communicate financial data clearly and confidently to senior leadership, breaking down complex variances into a clear business story.
• Thrive Under Pressure & Adaptability: Exceptional time-management skills to remain agile and execute clean deliverables during heavy month-end and quarterly public reporting cycles.
• Collaborative & Self-Motivated: A proactive team player with a "roll-up-your-sleeves" mindset, ready to support peers during peak operational periods to ensure overall team success.
• Successful candidates must adhere to all safety protocols and proper use of Amrize approved Personal Protection Equipment ("PPE"), including but not limited to respirators. Employees that are required to wear respirators must be clean shaven where the respirator seal meets the face in order to pass the qualitative and quantitative fit test.
