Senior Finance Manager, Manufacturing Finance Intelligence at a glance….
You will own the Manufacturing Finance Intelligence capability within the Supply Chain Finance Intelligence pillar at Kraft Heinz. That means building the AI-powered analytics, automation, and agent layer that transforms how the company manages plant costs, capital expenditure, production efficiency, and manufacturing finance closing and forecasting. You will be hands-on in the build, manage one analyst, and deliver intelligence that Plant Controllers and Manufacturing Finance leaders use to make faster, better-informed decisions. You are not here to produce reports. You are here to build the system that makes reports obsolete.
What’s on the menu?
- Architect and own the Manufacturing Finance Intelligence capability end-to-end — plant cost analytics, capex tracking, production efficiency reporting, month-end close automation, and forecast automation on Snowflake Cortex
- Build and maintain AI agents tailored to manufacturing finance workflows — automating close tasks, forecast packs, cost variance analysis, absorption tracking, and ad-hoc manufacturing finance requests
- Lead plant cost analytics across the manufacturing network: cost variances, scrap, absorption, fixed vs. variable cost tracking, and production volume efficiency visibility for Plant Controllers and Manufacturing Finance leadership
- Design and deploy automated dashboards and reporting pipelines that replace manual Excel and PowerPoint processes across the manufacturing finance cycle
- Own SAP/S4 and Snowflake data pipelines feeding manufacturing analytics — ensuring cost object data integrity, plant-level traceability, and auditability at every layer
- Manage and develop one finance analyst — set priorities, build technical capabilities, and create a high-output working relationship that multiplies your delivery capacity
- Translate complex manufacturing finance questions into scalable, repeatable solutions that Plant Controllers and Finance business partners can use without your direct involvement
- Contribute architectural patterns and automation frameworks to the broader Finance AI roadmap, shared across the four Finance AI pillars
Recipe for Success – apply now if this sounds like you!
- I have 5–8 years of experience in finance, analytics, or data engineering — with meaningful exposure to manufacturing finance, plant controlling, or supply chain cost management
- I have hands-on experience with Snowflake or an equivalent cloud data platform; Snowflake Cortex or LLM API experience is strongly preferred
- I can build automated analytics pipelines — not just consume them; Python, SQL, and Power BI are part of my day-to-day
- I have designed or deployed AI agents, copilots, or LLM-powered tools in a finance or enterprise context — this is a strong differentiator
- I am deeply familiar with SAP/S4 cost object structures — production orders, cost centers, internal orders — in a manufacturing or plant controlling context
- I understand manufacturing cost accounting mechanics — standard costing, variance analysis, absorption, scrap, and how these flow through the P&L
- I have managed or mentored at least one person before — I know the difference between delegating work and developing someone
- I understand what Plant Controllers and Manufacturing Finance leaders actually need, and I build for that — not for technical elegance
- I am comfortable owning a roadmap in a matrixed, fast-moving environment without complete requirements handed to me
- I have a Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field; an advanced degree is a plus, not a requirement
