As a Senior Finance Manager within Molex’s Transportation and Innovative Solutions (TIS) division, you will be a key strategic partner, influencing important financial decisions and business outcomes. You’ll collaborate closely with senior leaders, cross-functional teams, and the finance organization to provide insightful financial analysis and guidance. You’ll also be expected to bring an independent point of view, respectfully challenging assumptions and ideas to help leaders reach better decisions. This role is based in Rochester Hills, Michigan, with occasional domestic and international travel.

What You Will Do
- Act as a strategic advisor to business leaders, delivering financial insights and recommendations that improve business performance.
- Constructively challenge business cases, forecasts, and assumptions, raising risks and alternatives early in the decision-making process.
- Participate actively in product development cross-functional teams, applying Molex’s decision making framework and economic principles.
- Collaborate with product managers and stakeholders to prepare and share clear, unbiased economic analyses supporting investments and strategic initiatives.
- Provide transparency on investment opportunities by highlighting and testing assumptions, key drivers, and financial impacts.
- Understand and communicate business financial results, working with stakeholders to prioritize actions and manage risks effectively.
- Partner with teams across North America, Europe, and Asia, including manufacturing plants in North America and China.
- Share knowledge and continuously enhance the value proposition of the TIS Finance team.
Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
- At least 10 years of experience in finance or accounting with strong expertise in financial analysis and business partnering or related experience.
- Deep understanding of financial statements and the relationships between income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.
- Proficient in financial modeling and analysis.
Skills & Attributes
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, able to explain complex financial concepts to non-finance stakeholders.
- Strong critical thinking and attention to detail, with the confidence to respectfully challenge ideas, including those of senior leaders, and openness to being challenged in return.
- Collaborative team player with the ability to build strong cross-functional relationships at all levels and fully support decisions once they are made.
- Thrive in fast-paced, dynamic environments while managing multiple priorities and deadlines.
- Willingness to travel periodically for business purposes (domestic and international).

What Will Put You Ahead
- Experience with project investment analysis, including economic modeling, discounted cash flow, rate of return, and understanding key assumptions.
- Familiarity with the automotive or transportation industries.
- Experience in manufacturing or technology sectors, especially within global organizations.
- Demonstrated experience influencing business decisions by constructively challenging the prevailing view.
