Job Description Summary: The Senior Director, Cross Enterprise Procurement Group (CEPG), leads the Global Plastic Packaging Program on behalf of the Coca-Cola system, including The Coca-Cola Company, company-owned bottling operations, and franchise bottlers. The role reports to Managing Director, CEPG PET Packaging, and is accountable for steering a regional (Europe, Mideast, Africa and CIS states) procurement program that includes vPET, rPET, rPET feedstock, and preform conversion. This position will be responsible for the development and execution of Plastic packaging procurement strategies for the Cross Enterprise Procurement Group (CEPG) – with a specific focus on region geography. The role requires an experienced professional with a demonstrated history of working in a global environment, delivering savings, managing diverse stakeholders and securing the long-term health of the supply chain. The total spending under this region is approximately US$1.3 billion annually. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Development of the CEPG PET Packaging strategy for the region and participate in Global strategy creation to generate savings and other Procurement Value. Provide PET value chain direction and leadership to the TCCC and Bottlers within the region, including raw material cost forecasts to company-owned operations and relevant third parties (e.g., bottlers). Negotiate contracts for the purchase of circa $1 billion annual System spend regionally. Manage contracts and agreements Develop Price Risk Management Tools for PET Resin. As determined by the CEPG-MD, prioritize development work with R&D, QSE and Engineering functions in the region. Support commercial evaluation of projects. Lead supplier selection and relationship to support identified projects. Provide commercial leadership in the contracting of identified projects, as required. Serve as Subject Matter Expert (SME) on PET packaging in the region. Provide leadership, coaching and development, as appropriate, in order to strengthen System expertise in PET procurement. Drive program execution across bottlers, ensuring strong engagement, collaboration, and consistency. Manage complex relationships with bottlers, influencing decisions to obtain optimal solutions. Develop negotiation strategies that support Coca-Cola’s financial, innovation, and sustainability objectives. Provide supplier assessment and develop regional supplier portfolio within the CEPG global envelope Support key sustainability initiatives covering recycled PET use, work with supply base on SSEF decarbonization; build cross-functional rPET roadmaps to support system PET Packaging Sustainability 2030 goals; promote circularity by driving upstream collection solutions and enhancing rPET feedstock availability. Qualifications & Requirements Education: Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience. undefined 10 - 15 plus years in global/regional procurement or sourcing experience with category management responsibility in PET packaging value chain (resin, injection molding blow molding) and/or CPG industry. Technical Skills: Cross Functional Relationships: Knowledge of and ability to articulate to senior management the benefits of supporting cross-functional objectives to achieve the business plan. Bottler/Operating Unit Plans & Strategies: Knowledge of information used and ability to evaluate bottler/business unit's business plans and strategies to develop procurement strategies that enable delivery of those goals and objectives. Best Practices: Knowledge of procurement, industry and business best practices to guide thought leadership and ensure effective procurement strategies. Includes the ability to recognize value creation opportunities within the supply chain. Product/Service Knowledge: Knowledge of PET value chain (products/services: virgin PET and recycle PET resin, Injection molding, Blow molding) specific to a given industry, the product/service attributes, competitive positioning and unbundled cost components. Includes the ability to use financial models, industry knowledge and the client's requirements to formulate the best procurement decision. Competitive Analysis: Knowledge of sources for competitive analysis including supplier and industry data to build competitive intelligence, inform business planning and optimize decision-making. Includes the ability to create and analyze industry cost models in order to assess suppliers' competitive capabilities. Strategic Sourcing Strategy: Knowledge of strategic sourcing strategies by commodity, product, service to ensure that formal supplier agreements activate the elements of the sourcing strategy and support delineated performance standards. Includes the ability to create selection criteria to qualify suppliers for the bid process. ADDITIONAL EXPECTATIONS Have strong fluent communication skill in English (both verbal and written) (additional language skill is a plus) Provide authoritative category expertise to bottlers and internal teams. Ensure compliance with operational standards, sourcing processes, and record management requirements. Influence supplier technology choices and investment planning to meet long-term system needs. Evaluate supplier performance, competitiveness, and future potential.
