Primary Responsibilities & Attitude We’re looking for a Senior Controller, Finance, to join our growing company, Odyssey Trust! Our ideal candidate is someone who has strong technical skills, experience managing a team and strong leadership skills. The candidate will be known for their work ethic and “can do” attitude and considers themselves to be a team player. We're especially excited about someone who champions process transformation and knows how to leverage technology to modernize the way finance teams operate. We pride ourselves on having a team that is knowledgeable, friendly and always willing to support each other. On a day-to-day basis you will be responsible for supporting our VP Finance and Executive and working alongside the Finance Team. You will be responsible for the oversight of all accounting, auditing and finance compliance functions for the organization, leading the accounting team and driving technology and process transformation across the finance function. Key Accountabilities
 Skills and Experience ·       CPA designation required·       7+ years’ experience in senior accounting roles, managing a team·       Strong leadership and communication skills, with a great attitude and work ethic·       Exceptional attention to detail, strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize and multi-task within tight deadlines·       Solutions-based attitude, answering inquiries with “yes, I can do that for you” or “let me find a way to make this happen”·       Experience with NetSuite is an asset·       Experience with financial systems implementation or process automation and familiarity with business intelligence or financial reporting tools is an asset·       Strong proficiency with Office 365 (Excel, Word, PowerPoint), and other desktop applications What We Offer: Paid Time Off: Vacation, Flex Days, Bonus Day and Birthday Day off Benefits: Extended Health, Dental, Life Insurance, AD&D, Critical Illness, Long Term Disability, Employee Assistance Program, $500 Health Care Spending/Lifestyle Spending Account, RRSP/TFSA Match.
