Position Summary

The Senior Analyst, Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) will be part of the Corporate Accounting department in Vancouver, BC and report to the Director, FP&A. This position will be involved in budgeting and forecasting, financial modeling, and the delivery of portfolio performance reporting, analytics, and financial insights to support operational and strategic decision-making.

Key Responsibilities

Support, and over time assume responsibility for the management of, the company-wide quarterly budgeting, forecasting, and long-range business planning processes, including coordination with other departments and consolidation of assumptions/inputs Prepare and maintain financial forecasting models to support business planning, scenario analysis, investment decisions, and strategic initiatives

Analyze, monitor, and report the financial performance of all income producing properties, including the performance of Concert Income Properties LP, in comparison to market statistics and industry benchmarks Lead the preparation of internal quarterly portfolio-level reporting packages, which includes income and return analytics, variance analysis, debt and leasing metrics, and other key performance indicators Maintain property-level dashboards used by Asset Management as part of property operational performance reporting and strategic planning Serve as a liaison between IPP Accounting and Asset Management teams to coordinate portfolio reporting, ensure data integrity, and deliver timely and accurate financial and operational insight Assist driving reporting systems and process improvements, automation, and standardization of portfolio reporting

Debt mark-to-market valuations, external valuations of income producing properties assets, and property tax assessments Portfolio modelling Treasury/cash management and financing

Required Knowledge & Skills

Post-secondary diploma or degree in business, accounting, real estate, economics, or finance Minimum of 2 to 5 years of progressive experience in FP&A, corporate finance, accounting, investment analysis, portfolio management, or a related analytical role Demonstrated understanding of budgeting/forecasting, variance analysis, financial statements, and business performance measurement Advanced analytical and financial modeling skills Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to manage multiple priorities under tight deadlines Highly developed written and verbal communication skills The following is considered an asset, but is not required:

Real estate experience (income producing properties and/or development) CPA, CFA, or other relevant designation Understanding real estate valuation, including discounted cash flow models Experience with Yardi, Argus, and/or business intelligence tools
