Senior Accountant

We are partnering with a private equity-backed dealership in the Upstate South Carolina area that is looking to add a Senior Accountant to its team. The ownership group has an active strategy to acquire additional dealerships in the region, creating strong growth and advancement opportunities.

This is a high-visibility role where you will work directly with C-level executives at the private equity firm, gaining exposure to strategic decision-making, financial performance, and expansion initiatives.

What You’ll Do:

• Support the month-end close process for the dealership
• Prepare and review journal entries, account reconciliations, and financial reports
• Assist in the preparation of GAAP-compliant financial statements
• Analyze financial results and provide insights to leadership and ownership
• Partner directly with private equity leadership on reporting and ad hoc analysis
• Assist with audit requests and coordinate with external auditors

What We’re Looking For:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
• 3+ years of dealership accounting experience is preferred but not required
• Strong understanding of GAAP and accrual accounting
• Experience with dealership ERP systems (CDK, Reynolds & Reynolds, etc.) is preferred but not required
