Responsibilities
- Perform month-end account reconciliations and support the monthly close process.
- Prepare and post journal entries.
- Reconcile investment accounts, including researching and resolving discrepancies.
- Perform bank and credit card reconciliations.
- Support the accounts payable process, including reviewing and approving AP transactions.
- Assist with accounting activity and workflow within Bill.com.
- Maintain accurate financial records in Sage Intacct.
- Provide documentation and schedules for the annual audit.
- Assist with preparation and support related to the organization's Form 990.
- Research and resolve account discrepancies and ensure appropriate supporting documentation is maintained.
- Provide additional accounting support as needed.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field preferred.
- Prior accounting experience with a strong understanding of month-end close, reconciliations, and journal entries.
- Sage Intacct experience required.
- Bill.com experience preferred.
- Experience with accounts payable and AP approvals.
- Experience performing bank and credit card reconciliations.
- Experience with investment account reconciliations strongly preferred.
- Experience supporting audits and Form 990 preparation is a plus.
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to identify and resolve reconciliation discrepancies.
