Senior Accountant

Salary: $100k-$110k plus bonus for a total comp of $115k – $125k

Responsibilities:

• Participate in the Review major transactions, including investments, acquisitions and financing arrangements
• Assist the Manager with determining appropriate U.S. GAAP treatment
• Assist with monitoring of changes in GAAP or SEC reporting
• Gain an understanding of new accounting requirements and how they will impact the business
• Assist with training on various topics to regional and corporate departments
• Provide clarification of current accounting requirements to stakeholders
• Partner with financial reporting work to meet corporate deadlines
• Present resolutions to senior management as needed
• Assist with special projects

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in accounting
• 3+ yrs of professional experience
• Big 4 or public / private
• CPA, parts passed or actively pursuing the CPA exam
• Knowledge of U.S. GAAP and SEC guidelines
• Intellectually curious approach to the business
• Able to work with various team members across multiple departments
• Excellent verbal communication skills and able to communicate technical concepts to the business
• Ability to manage conflicting priorities and manage deadlines
