Our Newest Opportunity: 

The Senior Accountant works with the Senior Director of Corporate Accounting, Accounting Manager, and other members of the Finance team, on month-end and year-end close processes, account reconciliations, acquisition research, as well as making adjustments to the general ledger.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities (include but are not limited to):

• Assist with the accounting for Intangible assets, acquisition accounting, capitalized software, accrued expense, accrued liability & other accounts;
• Prepare journal entries in accordance with monthly tasks assigned;
• Prepare associated reconciliation of accounts and research inconsistencies during month-end close process;
• Work with internal and external teams to obtain acquisition agreements and related documents;
• Analyze and interpret the details of acquisition agreements;
• Provide external auditors with documentation and explanations for annual audit;
• Prepare monthly consolidation, intercompany entries and research variances;
• Develop and document business processes and accounting policies to maintain and strengthen internal controls
• Additional responsibilities assigned by management.

• Able to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines;
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills;
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail;
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment;
• Excellent judgement and problem solving skills;
• Takes initiative to perform research and propose solutions;
• Must be self-motivated, disciplined, and ability to thrive in fast-paced environment.

Education, Training and Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance/Accounting or Business with emphasis in Accounting, required; 
• Master’s degree in Finance/Accounting or CPA, preferred;
• Minimum three years’ experience in Accounting, required;
• Must be highly skilled in use of Microsoft Office;
• Financial reporting experience, required;
• Basic understanding of GAAP, required;
• Experience with Dynamics GP, preferred; 
• Experience with SEC reporting, strongly preferred.
