Senior Accountant / Cost Accountant

High-Tech Manufacturing | Epicor ERP

Nesco Resource is partnering with a growing high-tech manufacturing company seeking an experienced Senior Accountant / Cost Accountant. This role offers an excellent opportunity for an accounting professional with strong General Ledger and Cost Accounting experience to work closely with Finance, Operations, and Engineering.

Responsibilities

• Support monthly, quarterly, and year-end close, including journal entries, accruals, and account reconciliations.
• Perform manufacturing cost accounting, including standard costing, inventory valuation, and cost variance analysis.
• Review inventory transactions and investigate discrepancies or unusual activity.
• Maintain accurate inventory-to-GL mapping and reporting within Epicor ERP.
• Support product costing for new and existing products.
• Partner with Engineering and Operations on product costs, manufacturing variances, waste, and ECNs.
• Prepare inventory reports, reconciliations, and financial schedules.
• Assist with financial reporting and internal/external audits.
• Review and reconcile general ledger accounts.
• Support ERP process improvements and financial system enhancements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field.
• 5+ years of accounting experience within a manufacturing environment.
• Strong General Ledger and Cost Accounting experience.
• Hands-on experience with Epicor ERP strongly preferred.
• Experience with inventory accounting, standard costing, and variance analysis.
• Strong Excel and analytical skills.
• Ability to work effectively with Operations and Engineering in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Salary: $90,000–$106,000 + Excellent Benefits
