Analyze and forecast product costs, inventory, and manufacturing variances. Support in development and setting up of product standard cost. Calculate inventory reserves, direct labor rate, manufacturing overhead rate, inventory valuation Partner with manufacturing, plant, and financial leadership to provide reporting, analysis, and guidance on inventory and other accounts. Prepare and analyze inventory turnover, customer and item profitability Produce and analyze periodic financial reports Assist in the preparation of year-end audit schedules. Utilize DAX ERP system inventory management and production module. Work with IT to develop cost accounting module utilization. Implement cost accounting policies and procedures according to GAAP. Complete periodic actual production cost worksheets and analysis for use in controlling expenditures. Various accounts analysis and reconciliations. Organize and direct performance of the annual physical inventory and subsequent reconciliation of same. Participate in special projects and perform other accounting related duties as needed. Answer accounting and financial questions by researching and interpreting data. Participate in Corporate Performance Management maintenance related to sales(margins), inventory and production analysis
Qualifications
Ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing. Ability to work independently and in a team environment. Ability to meet deadlines and well organized. Strong time management skills Proficiency in MS Office. Advanced functions in Excel a plus Solid work ethic with a high level of energy and integrity.
Experience
0-3 years' experience Desired Skills CPA Track Auditing background a plus previous exposure or experience working in manufacturing
Education
Bachelors Degree, Accounting major required.
