Title: Senior Accountant

LOCATION: Smyrna, TN

COMPENSATION: $70,000 - $80,000(D.O.E.), eligible for up to 12% bonus

RESPONSIBILITIES: Senior Accountant

• Participates and/or recommends to management major corporate economic strategies, objectives, and policies for company.
• Prepares reports, which summarize and forecast company business activity and financial position in areas of income, expenses, and earnings based on past, present, and expected operations.
• Assists with budget preparation, reviewing budget proposals, and preparing necessary supporting documentation and justification
• Provides management with timely reviews of organization's financial status and progress in its various programs and activities.
• Manages all aspects of the general ledger, including account reconciliations, preparation and input of journal entries, bank statement reconciliation, and maintaining accounting estimates.
• Determines work procedures, preparing work schedules, and expediting workflow to standardize and improve efficiency.
• Coordinates, with Human Resources, all aspects of employee relations including but not limited to, employee interviewing, hiring, coaching, counseling, disciplinary action, complaints, scheduling, training and development, etc.

REQUIREMENTS: Senior Accountant

• Bachelor's Degree in related discipline (Advanced Degree is a Plus)
• 4+ years of related experience
• Advanced Excel Skills
• Experience managing processes
