Key Responsibilities

Maintain the general ledger and run the monthly, quarterly, and annual close for the management company Prepare journal entries and reconcile accounts, resolving variances Process accounts payable and manage vendor relationships Support fund-level accounting — capital calls and distributions, capital account maintenance, and quarterly investor reporting Help prepare fund and management company tax returns, and respond to audit and investor requests Monitor quarterly portfolio company performance and improve accounting workflows and controls Contribute to special projects as the finance function scales Qualifications Required Bachelor's degree in Accounting 3+ years of relevant accounting experience, or 2+ years from public accounting with strong audit, tax, or assurance exposure Strong Excel skills; General Ledger software experience required Sharp attention to detail and strong ownership of accuracy on numbers that auditors, tax preparers, and investors will review Organized and able to manage multiple deliverables and deadlines, with clear written and verbal communication A genuine hunger to learn and grow into broader responsibilities Sound judgment and discretion when handling confidential financial and investor information Preferred Background in public accounting (audit, tax, or assurance) CPA license or active progress toward CPA licensure Exposure to or interest in private equity or fund accounting (training provided in-house)
