Onsite/Local Risk Manager/PM (PMO) with ADO and Child Welfare Experience

Location: Jackson MS (MDCPS)
Duration: 12 Months

To be considered, all proposed consultants must meet the following mandatory requirements:

– Eight (8) years of Project Risk Management experience
– Six (6) years of IT Integration experience
– Six (6) years of software implimentation projects
– One (1) years of ADO experience
– Excellent English-speaking skills, written communication skills, and knowledge transfer skills
Preferred/Not Required
Provide any skills/experience that would be helpful for the candidate to possess but not required. Examples: Previous supervisory experience, WebLogic experience helpful, etc.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience in Child Welfare processes and workflows
Experience with federal requirements for Child Welfare management systems
Ability to communicate effectively
Ability to build a positive rapport with team members

OBJECTIVE:
MDCPS seeks an experienced professional with a broad understanding of solutions, industry best practices, multiple business processes, or technology designs within a product/technology family. Operates independently to provide quality work to an engagement. Performs varied and complex duties and tasks that need independent judgment to meet customer needs. Demonstrates expertise in delivering functional and technical solutions on moderately complex configurations. Effectively consults with management. Participate in business development activities. Develop detailed solutions for rather involved projects.

POSITION SUMMARY:
This position is full-time (40 hours weekly) and requires an individual to provide risk management tasks for implementing a new CCWIS Cloud-Based hosted solution. This individual will be using ADO to manage project risks and will need a working knowledge of ADO functionality. This individual will be reporting to the Project Director and will be involved in all project meetings.

MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:
-Establish cadence with project teams across business readiness, technical readiness, and operational readiness areas for risk review
-Integrate with PMO and Project Management team for risk and issue management;
-Collaboratively define and review risk mitigation options with the leadership team;
-Conduct an analysis of past project performance sufficient to identify and make recommendations for improvement;
-Provide regular, objective assessment of project status against critical success factors;
-Provide risk management assessment and capacity planning services;
-Maintain Risk Management monitoring and documentation in ADO;

-Project Documentation;
-Plan, organize, and/or contribute to project meetings;
-Other related tasks as agreed upon by the parties.
