What Makes an AFF Risk Analyst
The Risk Analyst helps identify, assess, and mitigate business risks through data analysis, reporting, and risk monitoring. This role supports informed decision-making by providing actionable insights, developing reports, and identifying opportunities to strengthen operational effectiveness.

Key Responsibilities
- Analyze data to identify trends, risks, and improvement opportunities
- Develop risk reports, dashboards, and presentations for leadership
- Monitor risk exposure and recommend mitigation strategies
- Automate reporting processes using Power BI and other analytics tools
- Maintain and improve databases, reporting solutions, and analytical models
- Partner with business teams to support compliance and risk management initiatives
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Finance, Risk Management, Analytics, Information Technology, or related field preferred
- Experience with SQL and data analysis tools such as R or Python
- Experience with Power BI, Tableau, or similar visualization tools
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
- Detail-oriented with the ability to work independently and collaboratively
- Experience in financial services, lending, banking, or risk management preferred
