Job Description:

• Leads the development and implementation of strategic initiatives for provider compensation.
• Manages physician compensation models, including planning acquisitions and service line development.
• Participates in the Provider Compensation Governance Committee for Physicians and Advanced Practice Providers.
• Ensures all physician call payments are made timely and accurately, and updates call template invoices yearly.
• Works with hospital on the Master Call Agreement and ensures Medical Director payments are according to the contract.
• Aids in the development, monitoring, and production of automated calculations and reporting dashboards.
• Conducts annual analytical reviews of each employed provider’s pay structure to deliver a fair market value plan that meets Commercial Reasonableness Testing.
• Collaborates with AHSPE in CR Watchlist activities and coordinates reporting and monitoring of Action Plans for CR and FMV.
• Identifies areas of potential risk and under-performance, coordinating action plans in collaboration with leadership.
• Monitors and manages any overpayments in provider compensation with leadership.
• Calculates the financial impact of new compensation plans.
• Communicates effectively and works collaboratively with legal services, management, compliance, internal audit, and finance to support regulatory and business requirements.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

• Understanding of healthcare reimbursement methodologies, including Alternative Payment Models (APMs) and their implications on provider compensation [Preferred]
• Familiarity with global compensation practices and their impact on international recruitment and provider retention strategies [Preferred]
• Knowledge of provider compensation principles, regulations, and industry trends [Preferred]

Work Experience:

• 2+ of healthcare finance/accounting industry experience [Required]
• 1+ of experience in provider compensation [Preferred]
