Job Summary

Responsible to assist in oversight of property budgets, staff payroll, and overall finances. This skilled position is ideal for candidates who enjoy accounting and customer service. Property accountants are detail-oriented employees and work with a high ethical standard. They also get to enjoy the perks of working at a resort without working the nontraditional hours that other staff often experience.

Duties and responsibilities

The role of the Property Accountant is to complete work with high ethical standards to process invoices, work on the properties account receivables and accounts payables, and assist the property management team by preparing and providing timely reports regarding the properties overall budget.

Working Conditions

Property team members are generally exposed to a variety of shifts that include a variety of hours, weekends, and holidays due to the 24-hour operation of a property. The common workplace environment in properties involves high levels of interaction with guests, employees, and managers. The number of hours you will be scheduled to work during the week is variable and is based on guest occupancy, season, staffing and other factors. Island Hospitality is unable to guarantee a specific number of work hours per week.
