Work Schedule

- Hybrid work environment: 3 days in-office / 2 remote
- Austin-area candidates only
- This is not a fully remote position
Key Responsibilities


- Prepare and post general ledger journal entries
- Perform monthly bank and balance sheet reconciliations
- Assist with month-end and year-end close processes
- Review and analyze financial statements
- Record daily financial transactions and maintain supporting documentation
- Manage accruals, prepaid expenses, and other recurring accounting activities
- Assist with variance analysis and account research
- Support operational and property management teams with accounting-related questions
- Ensure accuracy and timeliness of financial reporting
Qualifications


- 1–4 years of accounting experience preferred
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance preferred
- Strong Excel and analytical skills required
- Excellent organizational and communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a deadline-driven environment
- Property management or real estate accounting experience is a plus
- Experience with RealPage, Yardi, or similar accounting software is a plus
