Job Function

Reporting to the Senior Manager, Supply Chain, the Procurement Specialist will provide supply chain services on various simple procurements that ensure the operational needs of the organization are being met. Review of proponents, evaluate proposals for completeness and commercial appropriateness. Support Supply Chain effectiveness through reporting.

Plans, executes and co-ordinates technical and other procurement assignments to ensure that the company operational needs are met. Monitor market trends, review the adequacy of competitive sources, developing alternates where necessary, prepare RFx documents including the drafting of contracts, review bidders' lists, evaluate proposals, negotiate contracts, ensure jurisdictional requirements are met. Support all aspects of purchasing function.
