Job description:
Staff-Up, LLC is seeking a full-time procurement Manager to lead sourcing and purchasing strategies for raw materials and services while overseeing the Purchasing team.
Shift: Monday-Friday 6:50AM-3:20PM
Salary: $60,590-$75K
This role is responsible for supplier relationships, contract negotiations, inventory planning, cost savings, procurement analytics, and continuous process improvement to support manufacturing and business growth.
What You'll Do
- Lead strategic sourcing, purchasing, and supplier relationship management.
- Negotiate contracts, pricing, and terms to maximize value and profitability.
- Manage and develop a team of purchasing professionals through coaching, performance management, and training.
- Analyze purchasing, inventory, and sales data to improve forecasting, pricing, and inventory levels.
- Monitor supplier performance, quality, and risk, and implement corrective actions when needed.
- Develop and improve procurement policies, procedures, and reporting, including MRP processes.
- Lead RFPs and evaluate new suppliers and business opportunities.
- Partner with Manufacturing, Sales, Accounting, and other departments to resolve purchasing, pricing, and invoice issues.
- Identify cost-saving opportunities while maintaining quality and service levels.
- Support additional procurement and operational initiatives as needed.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain, or a related field preferred (or equivalent combination of education and experience).
- 5+ years of purchasing or procurement experience; government contracting experience is a plus.
- 2+ years of leadership or supervisory experience.
- Strong analytical skills with advanced Microsoft Excel experience.
- Experience with inventory planning, forecasting, supplier negotiations, and contract management.
- Excellent communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
- CPSM, CPPM, or similar procurement certification is a plus.
Reporting Structure
- Supervises 2 direct reports.
Physical Requirements
Must be able to work extensively on a computer, review reports and data, and perform detailed visual tasks, with or without reasonable accommodation.
