Job Title – Payroll Specialist (US & International) Company Location – Los Angeles Full Time | Direct Hire | On-site Salary – $85k-90k, DOE Job Summary of the Payroll Specialist position Integr8staff has an immediate Payroll Specialist open with Domestic US and International payroll processing experience. The Payroll Specialist ensures employees are paid accurately, on time, and in compliance with applicable laws and internal policies across U.S. and international locations. This role manages end-to-end payroll processing, reconciles payroll reports and funding, and partners closely with HR and Finance to resolve discrepancies. The Payroll Analyst also analyzes payroll data to identify trends, strengthen controls, improve efficiency, and support informed decision-making. The ideal candidate is highly analytical, service-oriented, and committed to accuracy, confidentiality, and continuousResponsibilities of the Payroll Specialist position Ensure accurate, timely and compliant payroll processing for International and US employees while managing regulatory compliance. Process bi-weekly payrolls and semi-monthly partner draws for a multi-state organization with 2,000+ employees. Process payroll in accordance with local labor laws, tax regulations, and company policies. Ensure payrolls are processed accurately, timely, and in compliance with federal, state, local, and company regulations. Maintain employee payroll records, including benefit deductions, retirement contributions, garnishments, tax elections, and other payroll-related changes. Audit payroll and timesheet entries to ensure accuracy and compliance. Process manual payroll checks in accordance with applicable regulations. Run payroll, labor, audit, and reconciliation reports as needed. Reconcile payroll funding, payroll reports, tax liabilities, and payroll-related accounts. Analyze payroll data to identify trends, discrepancies, process improvements, and reporting needs. Support domestic and international payroll processes as required. Partner with HR, Benefits, and Finance teams to resolve payroll issues and employee inquiries. Assist with annual financial audits, retirement plan audits, workers' compensation audits, and other compliance reviews. Calculate and verify quarterly and annual payroll tax obligations to ensure accurate filings. Assist with year-end payroll processing, including W-2 preparation, validation, and distribution. Recommend and participate in payroll process improvements, system enhancements.Requirements of the Payroll Specialist position 2 years of experience processing payroll of 1500 employees or more. Proficiency in UltiPro (UKG), ADP Global, ProPay, HRIS systems Bachelor’s degree or higher preferred Multistate and International Payroll Experience Required Intermediate/Advanced Microsoft Excel skills required Knowledge of Regulations Preferred Excellent communication skills and high level of professionalism Detail oriented with ability to work across various departments Willing to work overtime as needed Exceptional attention to detail and ability to work independently with minimum supervision Preferred Certification CPP, CIPP, or FPCUpdated resume is required for consideration.  Only Local candidates will be considered - Position does not offer relocation or visa sponsorship.
