Summary of Position:

The Payroll Specialist will be responsible for processing and reporting payroll and completing other related payroll tasks. In order to be successful in this position the person applying should be effective and efficient in all of the following skills and possess all of the following requirements or knowledge.

Job Duties / Responsibilities / Essential Functions:

Process benefits deductions, Wage Garnishments, 401K deductions, & Union Dues
Use UKG to process payroll in a multisite and multistate environment.
Rate Changes & Calculate Retro Pay
Answer emails and phone call regarding payroll related questions
Terminate employees in UKG and being compliant with State laws
Completes payroll reports as needed.
On-board employees using UKG
PTO and Accrual tracking using UKG
Work on other projects as assigned by the Payroll Manager
Knowledge of Canadian Payroll a plus but not necessary

Required Knowledge /Skills / Abilities / Qualifications:

Experience and advanced knowledge of Paycom and UKG are preferred.
3-5 years experience processing multisite and multistate payroll.
Must be a team player.
Must be able to perform all of the aforementioned job functions.
Bachelor’s degree preferred but not required.
High school graduate or GED required.
