What will you be doing in this role?
The Payroll Representative must possess an in-depth knowledge of current federal, state, and local polices as well as employee compensation and benefits as they pertain to each of the various Medical Groups supported under the CS Medical Care Foundation. The Payroll Representative must handle the research, processing and communication of pay changes in a timely fashion to employees and managers. The work includes, but is not exclusive to timecard processing, retro pay calculations, lump sum payments, adjustments and manual checks, voluntary and involuntary deductions, generating government reports and ad hoc reports associated with wages, time accruals, fte / salary history, EEO1, BLS, etc
Responsibilities
Primary Duties and Responsibilities
- Responds to and resolves payroll inquiries, escalating to Payroll Administrator as needed
- Understands and communicates Payroll policies and procedures to employees
- Maintains payroll information by collecting and entering data into ADP Payroll system
- Produces and distributes termination and retro pay adjustment checks
- Interprets and reconciles billing data to calculate moonlighting payments for hospitalist group on a biweekly basis
- Runs reports/retrieves data from ADP Payroll, MMC, Tableau and other systems as needed
- Runs biweekly payroll for multiple groups affiliated with Cedars-Sinai Medical Care Foundation
- Prepares reports by compiling summaries of earnings, taxes, deductions, leave, disability and non-taxable wages
- Responds to payroll inquiries from outside sources, including VOEs.

- Assoc. Degree preferred
Work Experience
- 2 years High volume payroll processing experience required
