Payroll Coordinator

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree or higher
• A minimum of five (5) years' successful payroll experience, preferably in an Illinois public school setting
• Extensive experience with payroll and accounting software, preferably Tyler Technology's School ERP Pro (Infinite Visions)
• Highly skilled and accurate in calculations involved in payroll preparation, with a strong math aptitude
• Proficiency with the Microsoft Office suite and Google Workspace, with a strong knowledge of Microsoft Excel preferred
• Knowledge of the Illinois Teachers' Retirement System (TRS) or Illinois Municipal Retirement Fund (IMRF)
• Excellent customer service, organization, prioritization, analytical, and interpersonal skills
• Sound judgment, a high level of trustworthiness, and respect for confidentiality
• Ability to work quickly and accurately in a deadline-driven environment with frequent interruptions
• Willingness to learn and implement new technologies, procedures, and processes
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
• Ability and willingness to work overtime during high needs times of the year as directed

$90,000-120,000
