- Degree preferred

JOB GOAL: To assist current, past, and potential employees by administering compensation, benefits, ethics, staff management and fostering employee relationships
PERFORMANCE RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Reviews and posts leave imported from substitute system and enters leave for employees as needed.
- Enters time cards and extra pay for regular employees.
- Prepares monthly retirement reports for retirement systems.
- Prepares monthly payroll checks for all regular employees in the district.
- Completes quarterly unemployment insurance reports.
- Prepares all tax reports.
- Enters new employee pay information into payroll system.
- Completes verification of employment via phone, letter and fax.
- Maintains employee payroll files for active and inactive employees.
- Prepares documents for employees who enter drop, retire or pass away for the retirement systems.
- Makes adjustments to employee's pay when required.
- Enrolls new employees into the retirement systems.
- Assists new hires in completing new hire documents, and tracks that all are turned in before deadline
- Terminates employees from the retirement systems.
- Maintains online files with the retirement systems.
- Calculates employee docks for those employees on leave without pay and extended sick leave.
- Tracks employees on leave and notifies personnel when all leave is exhausted.
- Performs any additional duties assigned by the superintendent and/or evaluator.
