Payroll Responsibilities:
- Processes regular payrolls for salaried employees
- Processes monthly and quarterly payroll items
- Handles certified payrolls
- Ensures 401k deferrals and loan deductions are withheld
- Prepares files for dead inventory, generic earnings and additional payroll processing
- Facilitates Payroll Budget Process
- LA Tax incentive and other specific town/parish incentives
Benefit Responsibilities:
- Administers the day-to-day and annual operations of the 401(k) plan
- Responsible for preparation of Form 5500 for the 401(k) and cafeteria plans
Other Responsibilities:
- Review and approval of offer letters for recruiting department
- FCRA – Fair Credit Reporting Act
- EEO-1 reporting
- Reports, maintains and monitors all workers’ compensation case files
- Responsible for annual workers' compensation audit
- Regular and predictable attendance is essential for this position.
