Staff Accountant

Daily

• Assist Controller and Assistant Controller with management of accounting staff and department.
• Handle ad hoc email/phone call requests.
• Approve Concur expense reports.
• Improve processes as time permits.

Monthly

• Prepare reconciliations on multiple general ledger accounts.
• Maintain prepaid accounts.
• Assist with job costing.
• Calculate and pay commissions.

Yearly/Occasionally

• Assist Controller and Assistant Controller with audits performed by our third-party CPAs and other regulatory agencies, such as the Departments of Revenue and Labor.
• Filing business occupation licenses forms as well as payment of invoices.
• Filing business personal property tax returns as well as payment of invoices.
• Assist in occasional financial projects as needed.
