CBI Home Health is looking to hire a Payroll Analyst in Toronto, Ontario. Salary Range: The salary range for this position is $65,000-$70,000 per year. - Work with a team of payroll professionals and other stakeholders to assess current set up and recommend future enhancements within UKG.
- Recommend further automation through system enhancements to support day-to-day processing requirements.
- Test and document code set ups and compare to requirements to determine accuracy of calculations.
- Audit third party year to date and year end filing to confirm consistency with payroll totals.
- Documenting of current state set up and recommendations for improvements.
- Ensure compliance to Legislation, Internal Policy, and Union Agreements.
- Identify obstacles to effective and efficient processing and work together with Payroll Manager and supporting teams to facilitate resolutions.
- Support the payroll team with back up capacity as necessary and assigned.
- Ad hoc projects as required to meet the ongoing needs of the organization.
- Post-Secondary Education in HR or Payroll, combined with a PCP or CPM designation an asset.
- 5+ years progressive payroll experience for a large organization in UKG.
- Experience with implementations in UKG is considered an asset.
- Strong computer systems and applications, including Advanced MS Office and Excel.
- Strong technical and communication skills.
- Strong work ethic, true team player, attention to detail and a high level of accuracy.
- Strong organization and time management skills, with follow through to resolve any outstanding issues.
