Position Summary: The Payroll Administrator is responsible for processing a small weekly payroll and a mid-size bi-weekly payroll to ensure pay is processed on time, accurately and in compliance with government regulations.

Core Responsibilities:

Full cycle payroll processing for multi-province payroll Payroll reconciliations as needed WCB reconciliation Calculating, withholding and remitting garnishees ROE submission, amending, trouble shooting Enter/Verify Tax, TD1 forms Respond to inquiries from employees and outside agencies

Qualifications

1 - 3 years’ experience in a payroll environment Actively pursuing course work towards PCP designation is considered an asset Multi-province payroll experience is considered an asset Experience with Dayforce software is considered an asset Experience with reconciliations is considered an asset Accurate data-entry skills with strong attention to detail required Ability to multi-task with excellent time management and organizational skills Strong teamwork skills Exceptional communication skills, both written and oral Proficiency with MS Applications: Excel, Word, Outlook Flexibility to work overtime as required to meet critical deadlines
